  Tower base assembly

Laying a square based on the tower spread and marking the footer holes for

The backhoe to dig.

The holes are dug and planks 2” X 10” X 8’ planks laid across

to walk on and support the corner posts with the anchors

bolted on.

The first set of horizontal girts are installed. Using 3/4” long

bolts with the nuts on the outside of the tower. All the bolts on the tower are installed from the inside out. All nuts on the outside.

The upper girts on the first section are installed on the 3rd bolt down and on the inside of the corner post.

The angle braces are bolted to the upper hole on the anchor post. Notice the lower end on the angle brace on one side of the corner are folded over different than the ones on the other side.

The upper angle braces are flattened on the top end

The angle brace on the right has a twist so it will match up with the lower brac. The brace on the right lays over the top of the one on the right.
